The Higher Council for Innovation and Excellence has announced the names of the winners of the Al Masrouji Award 2021, which aims to support creative ideas, projects and applied scientific research, especially in the field of pharmaceutical industries. Creating a positive impact on the health sector, citizen health and sustainable development, opening new horizons for Palestinian researchers and publishing their research, impact and growth in different and new markets.
Dr. Youssef Najajra won first place and a prize of $5,000, with his project Rational Design of ABL/JAK2 Di-inhibitors as a treatment for leukemia.
Ohoud Khattaba and Prof. Abdel Nasser Zayed won second place (repeated) and a prize of $2,500. with their project Manufacturing and evaluating cefpodoxime proxetil chewable tablets.
Hamdallah Al-Ashqar and Eng. Mohamed Salah won the second place (repeated) and a prize of $2,500., with their project the respirator, suitable for working in an intensive care unit environment.
